Tap, check, download
Drop the PDF, tap each page you want gone, and press Delete pages. Removed pages stay in view with a light tint rather than vanishing, because the most common mistake with this kind of tool is removing the wrong page and only finding out after sending it. Tap a tinted page to keep it after all.
You download a new copy without those pages, named like statement-pages-removed.pdf. The file on your device isn’t touched.
Pages people usually remove
- the terms and conditions at the end of a bank or card statement, when a form only wants the transactions;
- the instructions page at the front of an application form;
- an advert or a “how to read your bill” page in a utility bill used as address proof;
- a duplicate page from scanning the same sheet twice;
- the empty back of a single-sided page in a double-sided scan.
Blank pages are found for you
When the PDF opens, we look at every page for ink inside its margins. If some look empty, you’ll see a note like “3 pages look blank: 4, 8 and 12” with a button to remove them all in one tap. They’re offered, not marked: nothing goes until you choose it.
The check ignores scanner shadows at the edges, punch holes and faint show-through from the other side of the paper. A page with a single word, a signature or a stamp on it is not called blank. If you mostly need this, Remove blank pages starts with them already marked and explains how the check works.
Delete or extract?
If you’re keeping most of the document, delete the few pages you don’t want. If you’re keeping only a few pages of a long one, Extract PDF pages is quicker: tap the ones to keep instead.
You can’t delete every page. At least one has to stay, and the button says so if you try.
The file gets smaller too
A deleted page takes its pictures with it, so removing scanned pages usually brings the size down. If it’s still over a form’s limit after that, Compress PDF is the next step.
